Deuxième étape du cycle Univerciné, le festival Univerciné Britannique vous donne rendez-vous du 5 au 9 décembre 2012, et vous accueille pour sa soirée d’ouverture le mercredi 5 décembre.
Le festival commence le mercredi 5 dès 14h avec The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel / Indian Palace, suivi à 16h30 de Tess.
Nous vous encourageons bien sûr à ne pas manquer ces films, mais c’est surtout le soir que nous serons présents, à partir de 19h30, pour vous accueillir autour d’un cocktail. La soirée d’ouverture est l’occasion de découvrir un peu plus en détail les films programmés cette année, et ce qui a décidé de leur sélection, en particulier pour les films en compétition.
Enfin, ne manquez pas la projection du film inédit en France Dimensions : A Line, a Loop, a Tangle of Threads. La réalisatrice Sloane U’Ren et le co-producteur et compositeur Ant Neely seront présents mercredi soir pour présenter ce film naviguant entre drame d’époque et science-fiction, qui a été récompensé à de nombreux festivals internationaux.
The second stage of the Univerciné season, the Univerciné British film festival, will take place between 5th and 9th December 2012. We look forward to seeing you on Opening night, Wednesday 5th December.
The festival kicks off on the 5th at 2pm with The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, followed at 4.30pm by Tess.
The main event of the day however will be the opening night, starting with drinks at 7.30pm. Opening night is the best way to find out more about the films being screened this year, and why they have been chosen, especially the films selected for competition.
Don’t miss the French premiere of Dimensions : A Line, a Loop, a Tangle of Threads. Director Sloane U’Ren and co-producer and composer Ant Neely will be there to present their film, a unique mix of costume drama and science-fiction, which has already been awarded several prizes at a variety of international festivals.
