This film tells the story of an unlikely friendship between Tomo (Thomas Thurgoose, the rebellious child in This is England), an adolescent at a loose end who has fled his life in Nottingham, and Marek, a Polish immigrant passionate about photography, as they learn that love can be shared as well as pain.
A funny and quirky film, shot in black and white, which reminds us that despite the hardships in life, the pretty smile of a French girl can change everything.
