Le champ de leurs expérimentations artistiques couvrait la littérature et la peinture, mais aussi le cinéma, la musique et le théâtre.
Le film dresse un portrait attachant d’un couple étonnamment complémentaire, qui a marqué son époque. Une vraie réussite.

This sensitive and intelligent documentary presents us with two British artists of Polish origin: the late Stefan and Franciska Themerson. He wrote. She painted. Considered as significant figures in the avant-garde art-world, they produced an original poetic work that combined humour and absurdity. The span of their artistic experiments covered literature and painting, but also cinema, music and drama.
This film lays out a charming portrayal of an exceptionally complementary couple, who definitely influenced their generation. A true accomplishment.
