The story of the 44 days in 1974 during which Brian Clough was the manager of top-ranking football team Leeds United. Taking over as manager without his trusty sidekick Peter Taylor to back him up, Clough had to face a team which had been moulded by his predecessor Don Revie. In just 44 days, he showed how his exceptional determination and talent could turn a team around.
